Background
Jorge is a 19-year old artist from Mexico and since he was little his mom always encouraged him to do what he loved and one of those things was drawing.
Hey there.
My name is Jorge Amiri, and I'm a College student who likes to draw. I specialize in charcoal and graphite, but I also like to try different materials and take one or two pictures in my free time.

I like to start my drawings at the center of the paper, usually in the eyes if I'm doing a portrait, and keep on working from there, I work by sections, each by adding material to the paper and see how I can create the illusions I'm looking for, my style is mainly realism, however, even though I may put in a lot of detail into the drawing, sometimes I would try different kinds of techniques on the paper with the respective material to satisfy me and the views eye. It all depends on what the drawing is about, what I'm trying to communicate, and how I wanna finish my piece.
